  • The Donkey Puncher Boots are traditional logger style boots built to John Lofgren's exacting standards. Renowned for being incredibly comfortable right out the box, the Donkey Punchers are built using Waxed Flesh uppers courtesy of Chicago's Horween tannery. Over time, scuffs and scratches break the leather's waxed surface revealing a heavily textured patina. The boots incorporate classic Goodyear welt construction using USA made storm welts, and come anchored with Vibram's Christy wedge soles. The Donkey Puncher name comes from the operators of the massive “Steam Donkeys,” the engines that powered America’s logging industry at the turn of the 20th century.
