• Hand-finished by skilled artisans, the 6 Year Wash Denim is heavily distressed to replicate the natural patina of worn, torn, and repaired garments. Omoto weaves their signature selvedge denim on vintage Sakamoto shuttle looms dating back to the 1950s. A relic of old-world manufacturing, these looms use wooden shuttles operating at extremely low tension, producing a rugged, irregular texture unattainable through modern production methods. Woven using yarns spun from a careful combination of short-staple Memphis and long-staple Zimbabwe cotton fibers. Finished with oxidized hardware, patchwork repairs, and a sheepskin leather patch.
