Built in 1924 (and now currently out of commission), the fabled Toyoda loom weaves at a slow rate of just 5 meters of fabric per hour, creating a uniquely uneven and rugged texture that no other machine in the world can replicate. The jeans receive their unique blue-black color through a combination of indigo dye and rich sumi ink, allowing for an incredible color spectrum as the jeans fade. A one-wash rinse treatment eliminates shrinkage, ensuring the denim is ready to wear on day one without any further shrinkage.
