  • The Early Model Jacket is a historically accurate reproduction of early 1900s denim work jackets. Crafted from The Real McCoy's flagship selvedge denim, the fabric is woven on vintage Toyoda shuttle looms authentically recreating the look and feel of 1950s selvedge denim. The light indigo wash combines stonewashing, laser processing, and hand distressing to replicate the look and feel of naturally aged denim. Following patterns introduced in the early 1900s, The Real McCoy's outfits the jacket with a button-flap chest pocket, cinch-back adjuster, and pleated front placket.

By use of machinery and methods from times past, The Real McCoy’s has garnered a reputation as the gold standard in vintage reproduction. With an uncompromising focus on historical accuracy, the brand closely replicates every detail, from fabric and labels to buttons and sewing thread. Founded by Hitoshi Tsujimoto and still family-owned decades later, the brand operates on the principle that a garment must be period-correct to truly be considered The Real McCoy.
