  • The MFG CO. MA-1 Flight Jacket reproduces the Spec No. J-8279A, the second iteration of the standard-issue MA-1 featuring a simplified and refined design. Used by both the U.S. Air Force and Navy for over three decades, the MA-1 featured a high-density Type 6 nylon shell specially developed for the demanding conditions of military aviation. The jacket is detailed with a cotton-wool pile interlining, snap-welt pockets, and wool knit trim. The Real McCoy's reproduction is constructed from a proprietary nylon developed to authentically replicate the durability, texture, and weight of original 1950s examples.
