• Resembling the turquoise and emerald hues of Japan's coastal waters, Pure Blue Japan's Oceanic selvedge denim pairs greencast rope-dyed indigo warp yarns with a dark black interior weft. The combination produces a dark greencast indigo that will gradually fade to reveal a range of high-contrast blues with wear. Woven on vintage shuttle looms, the denim uses irregular slub yarns to create a textured surface and loose-weave character. Finished with custom hardware, a deerskin leather patch, and the brand's indigofera leaf embroidery at the rear. This installment comes pre-rinsed for a softer hand feel and streamlined sizing.
